1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit the Platform. They help us maintain your session and remember your preferences.

2. Cookies We Use

Session cookies: Used to keep you signed in during a session. These are deleted when you close your browser or sign out. We use HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookies for authentication.

Analytics cookies: With your explicit consent, the investor app uses PostHog Cloud EU to understand feature usage and record privacy-masked sessions. Text, form inputs and element-attribute values are masked before delivery; request bodies, request headers and canvas content are not recorded. Analytics is off until you opt in.

Marketing cookies: With separate Marketing consent, LinkedIn measures advertising visits and successful registrations across dotkot.ai, i.dotkot.ai and f.dotkot.ai. The tag runs in an empty document and receives no account names, emails, forms or private documents from our integration. Enhanced Matching is not enabled. Withdrawal removes the tag and prevents loading it again. Consent choices are shared across these sites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

PostHog processes consented analytics in its EU cloud region (Frankfurt). It receives your account identifier and profile name/email so the named alpha cohort can be measured. It does not receive note content, source URLs, startup identifiers or arbitrary product data from our explicit analytics events.

With Analytics consent, Google Analytics also measures visits and campaign attribution on the landing, investor and founder sites. It uses first-party _ga cookies and receives general page names and campaign codes, without account emails, form contents, authentication tokens or startup identifiers. Advertising features and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled. Withdrawing Analytics consent stops further GA collection and deletes its cookies on this site. See the current Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Platform.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time. Withdrawal stops capture in every open tab and clears the active PostHog identity and analytics state. A local opt-out preference remains so your choice continues to be honored.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
